About Revit MEP
Revit MEP lets building services engineers model HVAC ductwork, piping, electrical circuits and fire protection systems within a shared Building Information Model, so clashes with structure and architecture are caught before construction. It generates schedules (equipment lists, load calculations, feed points) directly from the model and supports clash detection via Navisworks. It's the standard BIM authoring tool for MEP design on most UK commercial and infrastructure projects that require Level 2 BIM compliance.
