About Autodesk Revit
Revit by Autodesk is the leading Building Information Modelling (BIM) application for architects, structural engineers, and MEP engineers. Unlike AutoCAD, which produces flat drawings, Revit builds a parametric 3D model — and all 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations, schedules) are automatically generated from it. Change the model and every drawing updates. The UK Government mandates BIM Level 2 on all public-sector projects, making Revit proficiency a baseline requirement for most UK architectural and engineering practices.
