Treble is a cloud and GPU-powered acoustics simulation platform that solves the wave equation directly (rather than relying purely on the geometric ray-tracing approximations used by older tools), giving more physically accurate results for complex geometries and low frequencies. Spun out of acoustics research (DTU and Aalborg University), it's positioned as a modern, faster alternative to legacy tools like ODEON and EASE for architects and acousticians designing concert halls, auditoria and other critical listening spaces. It runs simulations in the cloud, removing the need for high-spec local hardware.
